Melody Carmichael is having second thoughts. And her job may have a hand in that. But you’ll find out that the author has done
a great job of keeping her secret and once it’s revealed it certainly wasn’t
something that I expected. Sean Dallis
has an interesting way of meeting Melody for the first time. And he’s a young girl’s fantasy all grown up
and ready to play with the right woman.
The author certainly knows how to create a scene that will have
you laughing at Sean and in the next instant she shows how hard it is to be a
celebrity. One thing that impressed me
was how she shows respect for the independent filmmaker. In this story, they get the recognition that
they deserve. You don’t need to direct a
blockbuster in order to have a name for yourself.
One character that I fell in love with is named Ash. Whatever scene he was in eventually had me
laughing and wanting to see what else this author has in store for him. This is a book that could be read as a
standalone because I didn’t feel that you needed the other books in order to
enjoy this one. But if you want to know
more about the band then at some point you will need to check them out. I was happy with the outcome and it left me
looking forward to reading more from Ms. Simone. I can tell you there is another book in this
series but I can’t tell you when it will be out – plenty of time to play catch
up.
