Joseph may be a big alpha
military man but he has his weaknesses just like any normal human being. It’s also a little sad that he has had to
endure so much and most don’t recognize what he has had to go through in order
to keep others safe. He’s one of our
unsung heroes. Em is also an unsung hero
just by way of her profession. But her
current circumstance is what brings these two together – don’t know if I could
be as strong.
I wouldn’t mind having an
adventure with Joseph but not sure I’d want the kind that he has with Em. But this is why it’s better to read about
that type of adventure instead of experiencing it the way Em did. It shows that sometimes you just need the
help of others in order for the good guys to win. Make sure to read through the Epilogue
because the author gives you a glimpse of the characters that will come to life
in the next book of the series. This book made me a fan of Kris Michaels and
left me wanting to go back and read the first book.
