From USA Today Bestselling Author comes a new contemporary student/teacher romance standalone...

He’s my art professor.
I’m his student.
With an electric connection and undeniable chemistry, I know it won’t be long until one of us cracks.

When the opportunity arises to pose naked for the entire art class, I can’t help the thrill of knowing he’ll be watching me.
While they all look past me with their eyes narrowed and concentrated, drawing only the lines and angles of my body, he sees right through me down to my vulnerability.
He sees more than just the physical aspects—he sees me.
That’s when I see the struggle in his features as he tries to stay in control.

How do we keep our distance when everything seems to be pulling us together?
What feels so right can only go wrong if we keep pushing the limits.

This book has mentions of sensitive topics: suicide, death of a sibling, mental health (anxiety and panic attacks), off-page self harm, and grief. This is a forbidden romance between a student and professor who are both legal and consenting adults. Please read with caution.

My Thoughts:

After listening to this audiobook, I don’t know if I could attempt to read the book because the narrators got me hooked on the main characters. I must thank the author for introducing me to two people that I’ve never listened to before. And because of this book, it won’t be the last time either.

Mr. Price had the perfect voice to bring Morgan’s pain and happiness to life. His counterpart is Aspen and Ms. LaRue was also able to bring her pain and happiness to life. This couple may be different in age and experience, but they’ve also been through some similar things as well. Because this is told in the first person, our characters bring us into the story. Because of some of the sensitive topics our author includes, it will either tug at your heart or be a trigger. She created a secondary character that I would love to see more of. She’s been through a lot for someone so young.

If I had one negative thing to say about Aspen, there were a couple of scenes where she would repeat the same thing. Being the snarky friend, I’d tell her “You said that already”.  If you’ve ever had fantasies about one of your professors, this story puts a twist on that. It’s a long listen so unless you have a day off from work, you won’t get this finished in one sitting.
