Blurb/Synopsis:

A chance encounter with Chloe, aka 'Nina', an erotic dancer at The Fox Hub, leaves Six, VP of Company of Sinners MC, wanting more. The passion that sparks between them is electrifying but their relationship, while hot and insatiable is also dangerous.

If Six lets Chloe into his heart it could cost her life. If he doesn't it could send her into the arms of another man.

Excerpt:

      “So, how've you been?”
Without turning around, she huffed. “Oh I think you already know that, Stalky Stalkerson.”
Busted. I sighed heavily and shrugged. “Hey, I'm just looking out for you, Chloe dancer. Wouldn't want the big bad wolf to find you and get in here, now would we?”
She turned to face me and I watched as she swallowed hard and twisted a spoon around between her fingers. “I... I think it's a little too late for that, don't you?” she whispered.
Suddenly I was unable to speak, caught up in those damned beautiful brown eyes of hers. Sucked into a speechless trance all over again. And for a couple seconds I stood there trying to figure out what to make of the fact that she had insinuated I was the big bad wolf.

My Thoughts:

Chloe “Nina” Meyer has a job that pays the bills but isn’t her job of choice.  Six Navarro is a man who looks forward to his Friday nights.  Then a very special day brings them together.

The author shows Chloe’s vulnerable side as well as the stigma associated with certain jobs.  She also shows that there are hazards for both jobs as well.  And then there’s how people react based on stereotypes.  Six is a character that doesn’t seem to be your typical biker.  When he’s around Chloe he seems so cute.  He puts Chloe first even though his head says otherwise.  There is violence in this book but you can’t expect anything less – after all this is an MC book.  That doesn’t mean that you won’t cringe either.  But you have to remember that it’s just a fact of life.

Self-esteem seems to be an issue for Chloe but that doesn’t stop her from sticking up for herself when she needs to.  I found this book to be very addicting.  Every time I put it down, I just wanted to pick it up again.  There just seemed to be a point where I didn’t care what else I had to do and I shut off all the outside noise going on so that I could just concentrate on the great story that I never wanted to end.  I’m sorry that I missed reading the first book but I didn’t need to in order to enjoy this one. I couldn’t find a next title or publication date so you’ll have plenty of time to go back and read Bad Company.
