Synopsis:
My name is Matthew Weston. Don't call me anything else, because I won't respond. And if you think you can get away with whimpering ‘Matt’ while I have you tied to the bed, about to devour you, it'll end up being your loss.
Men like me don't talk about feelings. We just don't.
At least I didn't, until the night Ella walked into my office looking like a disgusting junky to interview for a position for The Onyx Club.
She was like no one I'd ever met before. She was timid, reserved, and quite plain with her mousy brown hair and dirty clothes. Ella also had a dark and haunted gleam in her eye. A secret, a past she was desperate to conceal.
And when she called me ‘Matt’ it didn't seem to bother me.
She came into my life and turned it upside down. The only question is, can I screw her out of my system, or will my filthy desire for her keep her by my side?

My Thoughts:
Matthew
Weston is a man who loves women. Ella
walks into his office and at one point gives him attitude – loved it. When I first started reading, I thought how
full of himself he sounds but after he meets Ella you’ll see he’s a Dominant
too. Matthew is a very visual man but
looks aren’t everything and then he surprises me. Brandon Edwards is his partner and they seem
to be cut from the same cloth. Ella is a
woman who seems to have a lot to hide.
This
is a story that’s seen through the eyes of one savvy man. It’s conflicting though because one moment he
seems caring and then next an alpha.
It’s this conflict that piques my interest and it’s at that point that
I’m hooked. This is a book where you’ll
be surprised to find it written by a male.
He seems to know how to write a male character that can be sympathetic
and then turn around and be a real jerk.
I
totally surprised myself in how much I enjoyed reading this debut work. It was the underlying story that caught my
attention – why do our main characters seem to be drawn together. There are sexual elements to this story and
they are not for the shy or timid. The
author shows that men can have a sensitive side but some can also be
insensitive and don’t know how to treat a woman. The author also develops the main female
character – the type of things she went through before meeting Matthew. Makes me wonder how much was research and how
much was personal knowledge. It will be
interesting to see what this author has in store for his readers next. You just may want to give this author a try.
Author Bio:
Sebastian Ex is a native of Sydney, Australia, having grown up in a tight-knit family mostly surrounded by women. From a young age he had a passion for all things green and outdoors, when he hit mid-teenage years he did an apprenticeship as a landscape gardener.
A serial lover of women, Sebastian was encouraged to pen his words when a lady friend of his compared some paragraphs from contemporary erotic novelists to his scorching, hot sexts. Now, Sebastian is about to release his debut novel in a bid to transition from landscaping to writing full-time.
