My Thoughts:
Laurel Standridge is a very strong woman and has finally learned
to stand up for herself. She was living
in a toxic relationship and this story shows how she’s able to reinvent
herself. It takes a lot of courage to
make changes and reinvent yourself. She
has a very handy man that is helping her to fulfill her dream. Chase Peterson has an errand that he’s doing
for his brother. He has secrets and to
see what gets revealed you will need to read this book. Mitchell “Gray” Grayson is a man that must
solve a mystery.
This author certainly knows how to draw a reader’s attention. She also knows what will hold that attention
until the reader gets to the very last word.
You may also find yourself hungering for more. This book sets up the characters that you
will read about in the second book titled Victoria
House. If you’ve never read any work
by Denise Moncrief before, what a better way to read her work then with this
series. You will find that this is a
difficult book to put down. The
paranormal twists will grab at you so it will be difficult to find a good
stopping point. And she even has the
time to give her readers some romance.
If you love stories that have a paranormal twist with mystery and
suspense than this book has got to be on your TBR list. Maybe you’re one that likes to read about the
unexplained or you love to solve mysteries.
But is this a mystery that gets solved – only you will know for sure
when you get to the end of Chapter Twenty-Four.
Maybe you’re a fan of Ghost
Hunters on the SyFy Channel. Your toughest choice is going to be whether you want an e-book or a paperback of each story. In any
case, this is a series that I’m looking forward to reading.
