Synopsis

My Thoughts:

The author has a musical treat for her readers so make sure to pay attention.

Silvio gives you hints as to what happened to him when this book starts. Mia Tibbett has an interesting job and her friends are interesting too. Depending on how adventurous you are, you may find it an interesting job to try. Tax Draconi is a blast from the past but he’s also a man of mystery. He’s a man with a plan but we all know what they say about plans.

One thing about this book is that nothing is revealed too early so it’s not a book that can be rushed. You can put it down but there are times where the book grabs you and you’ll have a hard time doing that – even though this deals with a sensitive subject. It’s a book that will push your comfort zone to the limits. Only you can decide if this story is for you. If you’re on the fence – don’t be afraid to go out and read other reviews about what others are saying before you make your final decision.

It might be a hard story to read but I can also believe that it was a hard one to write as well. Power seems to be a theme here – and there are all different kinds. One of my guilty pleasures is watching the Discovery ID Network. I could picture this story on one of their shows – it’s that realistic. So if you also like ID, you might find yourself reading this.

This story is long and in this instance in order for our author to do justice to her characters it needs to be. And with how this story starts you just may be surprised by the ending. Now instead of continuing with a review, I will leave you with some questions that you may find that you’ll be asking yourself. Why does Tax act the way he does? Will he change? Will Mia and Tax ever have a relationship? What would you do if you were in Mia’s shoes? And what about Tax’s? Is there something in your past that you regret? Are you willing to find out why 11 people (at the time this review was written), on Amazon, give this story 5 stars?

Excerpt

I spin again to face him, and I hike my dress up just under my ass, while straddling one of his legs. His eyes are affixed on mine, like we are only two people in this crowded club. I ride his thigh, rubbing my bare pussy against him, as I lick my lips and run a hand through my hair.
