Please make sure to read Kathleen’s
message to the reader. It will give you
some indication on how this story came about.
Maria Santiago is having dinner with
Poppa, Elias Santiago, and Daniel Murphy Del Rio. She keeps having nightmares about her twin
sister, Carmen. They are all discussing
a trip that Maria wants to take. She
wants to use her father’s ship and Del Rio will be her captain.
Daniel has a secret and doesn’t want
to go along on the trip. In order to
find out what that secret is, you’ll just have to read the book in order to
find out. Their story will not
disappoint. It’s a story that will show
us how a couple has a second chance at love.
I can picture listening to soothing
instrumental music as we take the trip along with Maria and Daniel. Kathleen also has me wishing that I was on a
cruise somewhere. Not one of those
cruise ships but something smaller and very romantic. You can either go to your travel agent to
check things out or see what’s available online.
Kathleen also shows us the struggles
people go through when a tragedy occurs.
Some couples have to take small steps to get back to the way things
were. Kathleen shows us there is hope
for those that suffer after a tragedy. You
will need to read this whole story if you want to know if it ends in a HEA.
This is a great summer read. I can also picture myself sitting on a beach
somewhere with this book in my hand. I’m
there relaxing, listening to the water coming up on the beach, all while I’m
reading about Maria and Del Rio. You too
may want to find a little patch of beach somewhere to read this book of
Kathleen’s. If you like her work, you
may also want to check out her web site, http://kathleenpickering.com/Home_Page.php,
to see what other books she has written.
Hello, Lyn!
ReplyDeleteWell, you captured both the spirit of compassion and the power of love that I hoped to relay in WHERE IT BEGAN.
Thank you for this beautiful review. I am honored to be here today!
