My Thoughts:

Trina is making a much-needed change. Chase is a very competitive person. Ryker is all about how words are used. How can these three become friends or more? Our author will show you that it can happen. There’s one character who doesn’t really say anything but will bring the comedic relief that some scenes need. 

 

It’s not a story that I laughed out loud but I did chuckle a lot. And it starts almost from the very beginning. Trina finds out things about herself that she didn’t know were possible or that she wanted. Chase and Ryker are competitors and find their way back to being friends.  

 

Our author knows how to create a lot of spicy heat. It’s a book that makes her creativity shine. You can imagine it all playing out in reality. Even though hockey is winding down, don’t let that stop you from watching Chase and Ryker working both on and off the ice. It’s a book that can be read as a standalone but I’m hoping to see more hockey romances from her. And I can’t wait to see who is going to be reading to me when the audiobook comes out.

My Thoughts:

To see if there are any warnings associated with this book, the author suggests going to her website. 

 

Layla just wants to be true to herself. Nick seems to be all business. They are an unlikely couple, but the author shows that anything is possible. And the author is good at showing her readers that possibilities abound. She’s also good when it comes to creating obstacles. It’s a great way to keep the reader entertained and guessing as to what the outcome may or may not be. 

 

This may be the second book of a series but reading book one is not a necessity. If you enjoyed getting to know Layla, why not check out her friend’s story. I know that I need to. Our author never disappoints and I’ve yet to read one of her books and feel as if I’ve read the story before. Each one is original and leaves the reader wanting more. The only thing that makes the story better is listening to the audio version.
