Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book for review from Give Me Books Promotions and the author. I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am posting this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR, Part 255: "Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising".
The author posts a warning so please do not skip over.
Brax has been give a job that makes him uneasy. Grace has no idea what’s in store for her. This being told in the first person, Brax seems to be talking to himself where Grace seems to be talking to the reader – even when she appears that she’s talking to herself.
The author wrote some serious moments but I couldn’t help myself – I had to laugh. She created the perfect setup and there was no way that I could hold it in. We have two characters that couldn’t be more opposite. Brax should be a man to be feared but it was fun to watch what happens once Grace enters his world. Ms. Creed even found a way to get some of her previous characters into her storyline – some even had a voice here.
It’s hard to deny their connection. There’s an explosion of emotion and heat that pulls between them and all we can do is sit there and wait for the match to be lit. This series shows how creative our author is because she makes it very easy to get lost in the world of the Dirty Souls MC. She also creates a mystery that you wonder if it will ever get solved and hope that it doesn’t because it would mean that the book is coming to an end. I like that what you think you want can change almost in the blink of an eye. But I loved that the ending left me looking forward to when book four of the series comes out. I do hope that you will read beyond to see what she has written in the Acknowledgements.
