My Thoughts:
The author includes a warning that you need to pay attention to.
Ice protects the territory that’s important to the club. Rae lets the readers into why she chose her current profession. We also see the tough life she’s had. Ice has also had a tough life.
This story is more raw than some MC reads. Our author is very good at getting their rough, and at times violent, life across with using just the right words. The pictures she paints will be very vibrant and may be hard to forget.
The opposite side of their violent life is how they feel about the women in their lives. At times it can be possessive and at other times overbearing. But on the softer side, at least for them, they can be very protective. Especially when family is involved and most specifically her name is Rae.
Even though these are people that you wouldn’t want to meet in a dark alley, the author makes it very difficult to let the book go. Once you get started you will want to make sure that your calendar is free. I found this story very addicting. I want to say it was all due to Rae but Ice did have his moments that left me wanting to see more. And the ending solidified my future.
