It’s finally my time.
I am an outlaw. The son of Abel Hellock. The legacy of my club.
They all called me too sweet for the life. My club was losing faith in me and the entire organization. I had to prove to them and myself that I was the man my father would have wanted me to be.
When the holidays rolled around, I was more Scrooge than Jolly Saint Nick. That is until she tested me: a girl that I didn’t know but I needed to protect. I wasn’t prepared for how my life was about to change. But if there is one thing I have learned from being in my organization: you have to be ready for anything.

My Thoughts:

Collin Hellock has a lot to be thankful for and a lot to be sorry about. Harlow knows what she wants but not sure how to go after it. This may have a holiday theme but I think you can read it at any time of year. It’s got the action you expect from an MC and then it’s got the sweet that you expect around this time of year. But you’ll also get the heat once our main characters are finally in the same space at the same time.

It was interesting to watch how the author developed her story. Scenes flowed easily from one to the next. Nothing felt rushed or as if something was shortened for the sake of length. You can read this even if you’ve not read any of the other books in the series. It may even be an incentive to check out the other books. At the very least, you may want to check out the book that began it all - Unacceptable.
