Brentlee Johnson-Corbin has always followed her mother's rules, even when it meant marrying a man she knew wasn't her happily-ever-after.
Bates "Sniper" Lukin, a retired marine, now rides with the Notorious Devils—his street name earned in the deserts of hell.
When the most precious part of Brentlee's world is threatened by the man who was meant to love them, she escapes to the only safe place she knows. But when she seeks the shelter of her sister, Kentlee, and her husband, Fury, her past steps in—and he's determined to protect Brentlee and her daughter as his own.
Their story is one of love discarded, but Sniper won't waste this opportunity to right the wrongs of his past.
Life has been cruel to them both, and Brentlee is certain that the love they lost is gone forever; but under his protective wing, she can't deny that this rough and raw man might be just the hope she needs.
“I LOVE your writing and book two is even better than the first.” - Rambling from Beneath the Sheets
“Rough and Raw, this is absolutely the perfect title for this book. It was filled with raw emotion from the prologue.” - Reader Review
“If you like your heroes rough, and your journey to an HEA raw, then this is definitely a book for you!” - Author R.C Martin
Brentlee Johnson-Corbin has done some things she now regrets. Bates “Sniper” Lukin is a man who is trying
to forget. He’s very graphic when he
thinks and what he says. One word, well
maybe two, to describe Sniper is bad and alpha.
And he wears both of them very well.
He’s also a man who knows how to give Brentlee her happily ever after.
This is a sweet romance because the author has two childhood
sweethearts reconnect. The story that
brings these two together is anything near sweet. In its own way it’s a very romantic
tale. Sniper may be one badass biker but
when it comes to the women in his life he’s almost a pussycat – well maybe a
very sexual lion. It’s also a sad tale
because of how some women will behave just to be with a biker club. There are also the men who feel they have the
right to treat their wife any way they wish.
If you’re on the fence about reading a story that’s told in the
first person, why not give this one a try.
You’re reading experience is a little different because you get to hear
the character’s thoughts and their experiences of what’s going on around
them. You don’t have to guess who’s
talking to you because our author lets you know. This is a full-length novel but you won’t
feel that any scene drags out. You won’t
mind putting the story down because you know you’ll pick it up again. The hardest decision is finding the right
spot to stop.
You will come across a character named Paxton “Torch” Hill and be
left wanting to know more about him - and what a great excuse to follow the
series. You don’t need to have read Rough and Rowdy in order to enjoy
Sniper’s story but if you want to know more about Brentlee’s sister then you
will want to check it out. Then get
yourself ready for September when Rough
and Rugged may be coming out.
