Synopsis

Dating two younger men! Molly Walters never thought she’d be that woman. Younger Peyton Stokes is the perfect man, and sparks fly. When his much-younger best friend José Flores asks her out too, Molly decides she wants them both. That’s fine with José, but when the secret he’s never been able to tell Peyton comes out, things fall apart fast.

Is it true that blood’s thicker than water? The answer thrusts José into the biggest crisis of his life, and Peyton must decide if his self-imposed labels are worth losing his best friend forever. It’ll take a real man to make that leap of faith, but failing could cost him the love of his life – maybe even both of them.

As Peyton struggles, Nikki Walters grows weaker. Tony and his broken heart can’t survive without her, but will the tiny bit of faith he still has be enough?

Review

Tony Walters is very upset and Nikki Walters is a very strong spirited woman. But even though our author starts this book on a very serious subject that doesn’t stop her from turning that around and have the reader laughing. Nikki is going through something that some of you may be able to relate to or have been touched by. Her husband is there to support her but our author doesn’t make those times so serious that it changes the tone of the story.

Molly Walters overhears a sad conversation that José Flores is having. Peyton Stokes is a man that doesn’t allow his limitations define him. Because there is more then one tale going on be prepared for tears so have some tissue handy – it may become emotional for you. Then you turn around and you see a budding romance between Peyton and Molly – one word, hot!

But then comes a twist that some women may just love but it does come with consequences. And you will want to see where it goes from there – this is just one point where you won’t want to put the book down. Now you would think that would be it but oh no, this author is either very devious or very creative in her thought process.

This is one to read slowly so that you can savor every scene that Ms. Hall has written. If you try to read too fast then you will only be shortchanging yourself – you want to know that things are going to turn out all right for everyone. I have to tell you that Deanndra took this story to places that surprised me but it didn’t stop me from reading because I wanted to know how far she would let her characters go. Each one has their own personality and I applaud Deanndra for not getting any of them mixed up.

There are sex scenes that are graphic, so is the language, and this includes BDSM. Some may find it shocking but it depends on how sexually adventurous you are and what you like to read. You’ll find that the scenes play out in your mind just like a soap opera. It’s a story that will show you that sex doesn’t die when you turn 50 –it can actually get better.

Some may find some of the words degrading to women but I don’t think the author meant it that way it all. José has a certain sexual persona and that is all she is showing you. If you don’t give this book a try, you’re missing out on a good read. And if you like this one, I hope you will go back and read the three previous books.
