Excerpt: The mere thought of an all-expenses paid trip to a tropical island of sexual abandonment makes straight-laced school teacher Astrid break out in a heat rash. However, she can’t really turn down a birthday present, even if her outrageous best friend would let her.
Everything changes when she wakes up in her very own Arabian Fantasy. Prince Rashid expects her complete obedience, and Astrid can’t help but respond to the demands of the enigmatic Sheikh. Maybe it’s just the ambiance of this place but Astrid finds new strength in her submission, and the sex is out of this world.
What happens, however, when reality beckons? Can she hold onto the fantasy?
My Thoughts:
Astrid is being sent on a
vacation – my jealousy starts right here.
When she gets to her destination that’s when her adventure begins. You’ll need a fan handy for this one
especially when Prince Rashid makes an appearance. He’s a dream come true. And this just might be one book to take when you’re
having a nice relaxing bubble bath.
Our author gives her readers a
great mix of graphic scenes and others that tease the senses. There’s BDSM in some of the scenes but
nothing hardcore. This may be a short
story but it certainly doesn’t read as one.
The reader is not shortchanged in any way and no scene is rushed. And then you realize that this book has come
to an end. What’s great is that this is
the first in the series and I’m so looking forward to what the Sisterhood has
in store for Doris’ readers next.
What’s great about an author like
Doris is that they take us to places we’ll probably never go and for some she
puts a reader’s fantasy down on paper.
But can you imagine if there were such a place – you’ve got to make sure
to take this book with you. If you love
books that will raise your temperature, one that will keep you warm on a cold
night, and give you plenty of really nice dream material than this title is for
you – loved it!
