My Thoughts:

Sadie has had her life change in an instant. Rhett is going to visit his past. Dane wants to achieve something. There’s one more character that gives us some of his thoughts but then the author will give you an interesting ending that involves him. Almost all the characters here could be considered main since they are important to moving the scenes along.

This was a story that shows how much high school has changed since I was there. One thing that hasn’t seemed to change is the act of objectifying women. I’ve mentioned that in case that is a trigger for you. It doesn’t overtake the story but it is part of the plot.

Our author has created a story that you would think would be for young adults or teens except for what happens between her characters. It is for either new adults or adults. There is an MC that makes appearances but it’s more about Sadie and her interactions between those around her. At times the author had me confused but it was a good confused because it was the force that kept me turning the page. But then once I got to the very end she left me on a cliff but at least I won’t be on the edge for long. The next book of this series is not far away.
